Taylor's Wedding

I’ve never understood the fascination with Taylor Swift, but I haven’t been young for a long time, so I accept being out of touch. It is certainly clear that she is a unique phenomenon, and I have loved, loved loved that fact that she invented herself and has become a billionaire or is that billionairess? Whichever, it’s great.
My confession: I’ve been following her wedding plans with real interest and curiosity. Why would anyone who could get married anyplace choose Madison Square Garden in NYC in July? It hasn’t made sense to me. So, I’ve examined the pictures of her trucks and carpenters and wedding planners all taking over the streets and loading all sorts of shit into MSG and I’ve reached my conclusion. Think what you will, here is my assessment.
She might be the only person on earth who could delightfully out-Trump Trump on the 250th year of the Fourth of July. Intentionally or not, she will out do him on every measure – more likes, more watches, more space on Instagram or whatever else they use now – all of it. People will buy whatever she is selling. She will dominate!!! Taylor will do what the Democrats have (so far) failed to do - compete and win. This makes me happy.
And then she will put out a movie of her wedding preparations, the ceremony, the show, the spectacle and make another billion dollars, and I’m cheering her on.

this take on it make me feel good which is the only thing that makes sense. Anything to out trump little Donnie.
