Who Had It Worse?

I understand that AI is changing the world, that rap is music, snowboarding is an Olympic sport, and I am already so far behind in my 2 factor authentication that 'scam likely' might be my new best friend, BUT I still find myself favorably comparing my youth to today’s young people. Therefore, thus, and hitherto, I pose a few questions for your consideration in the category of Who Had It Worse: Our generation or today’s?

Which is Worse?

1.    A brick of Velveeta (even the name is weird) in the fridge, impervious to expiration dates VS. artisanal cheeses designed to make you feel terminally inadequate?

2.    Climbing over the seat in a moving car, unhampered by seatbelts VS. that horrible GPS lady telling you to “turn”, “turn here”, or finally “rerouting, you idiot”?

ree

3.    The tedium of learning to diagram sentences VS. the utter confusion about how to use AI for assignments?

4.    Figuring out to comfortably wear a thong VS. yanking on a panty girdle?

5.    Eating meat endlessly (roast beef sandwich for lunch, French fries on the way home from school– right cousin? -  and meat again for dinner. FYI, I did not eat meat at breakfast VS. soy, peas, heme, and beet juice burgers?

6.    The neighbor snitching on your behavior to your parents VS. ICE visiting your home or school?

Time to reread Not The Trip We Planned. It’s as peaceful and you are going to get this month – and please write a review on Amazon.
